The Founders

Kerri Honaker, M.S., M.A., LPC
Executive Director


Ms. Honaker is the founder and director of neuroAgility, PC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with graduate degrees in Clinical Psychology and in Counseling and Family Therapy. She brings elements from the sports world to her work, combining psychology, performance and a natural motivational style. She has been competitive in gymnastics, tennis and basketball, and remains an avid athlete. Ms. Honaker is a licensed professional counselor and is a member of AAPB (Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback), iSNR (international Society of Neuronal Regulation), ACA (American Counseling Association), AAASP (Association for Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology), and BIAC (Brain Injury Association of Colorado).

Earle Shugerman, MD
Medical Director


Dr. Shugerman attended medical school at Duke University, where he was elected to the AOA medical honor society. After completing psychiatric residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, he served as medical director for the Jefferson Center for Mental Health, and then for the Behavioral Health program at Boulder Community Hospital. He has been in private practice in Boulder, Colorado since 1989. Dr. Shugerman is board certified in psychiatry. He is a member of iSNR, AAPB and the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Shugerman carefully incorporates advances in psychiatric medicine, selected nutritional supplements when appropriate, and a willingness to utilize effective alternative approaches to achieve health and wellness in his medical practice. He has worked extensively with attentional disorders and brain injury in adults and older adolescents throughout his career.

Dawn Dilkes
Office Manager

Our office manager is a Colorado native who enjoys living in the mountains west of Boulder with her family. Interests include camping and hiking. She maintains our billing system as well as all front office duties. Dawn has worked as an office manager dealing with billing, scheduling, and numerous other tasks for 25+ years.

Victoria Rockett
Office Assistant

Vicky assists with all aspects front office duties on a part-time basis. She lives outside of Boulder with her husband and young son. Her passion is Massage Therapy which she enjoys doing independently of neuroAgility. She attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy and became Certified in 2006.

Lorene Allen, M.A., LPC
Neurotherapist


Lorene Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, Boulder Colorado. She acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Population and Organismic Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her other post-graduate specialties are in Trauma (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive Behavioral techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Gestalt Therapy. Lorene’s therapeutic orientation is result-oriented thus she has always favored methods of healing that have a direct impact in one’s life utilizing integration of mind and body. She has been in private practice for eight years in Boulder, Colorado. Outside of her passion for her work and her family, Lorene is a movie enthusiast, loves music, dance, martial arts and meditation.

Anne Cattarello, Ph.D.
Group Specialist
Neurotherapist


Anne Cattarello is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado. She received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Kentucky in 1993 and has taught courses and published research in criminology and substance use at the University of Kentucky and at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member for the M.A. Contemplative Psychotherapy program at Naropa. Anne specializes in helping people resource and take care of themselves so they can live centered and fulfilling lives. With post- degree training in EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems), she also helps people recover from trauma, manage chronic illness/pain, and navigate the grieving process around change and loss. She has been in private practice in Boulder for five years. Anne is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and, when she is not working, enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her cat, Mahakala.

Steve Stockdale, Ph.D., B.C.I.A.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Staff Consultant


Dr. Steven Stockdale is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Stockdale has extensive experience in clinical and research applications of Quantitative EEG technology. He is currently the Clinical Director of The Neuro-Health Center in Colorado Springs, CO, which specializes in Quantitative EEG evaluations and neurofeedback treatment for Attention Deficit Disorders and Mild Closed Head Injuries. In 1991, Dr. Stockdale established a research and treatment facility for Lexicor Medical Technology. Previously, he was in private practice specializing in child and family psychology and has held appointments at The University of Colorado and Chapman University. Dr. Stockdale is an internationally known speaker on Quantitative EEG and neurofeedback. He is past president of The Society for the Study of Neuronal Regulation, a professional society dedicated to the advancement of Quantitative EEG and neurofeedback through research.

Andrew L. Braun, MBA
Business and Development Consultant

Andrew L. Braun is principal and President of Andrew L. Braun & Associates, LLC, a management consulting and coaching firm that identifies and helps implement business solutions for healthcare organizations and practitioners.

Mr. Braun has been chief executive officer of several healthcare organizations, including specialty hospitals, medical and mental health group practices, a managed behavioral health company, a chiropractic and alternative health provider network, a multi-state provider of behavioral health services in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and most recently a child and adolescent mental health and mental retardation residential treatment center. Mr. Braun co-founded a number of these ventures.

Mr. Braun has an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University, Washington, DC. He also completed a graduate certificate program in Total Quality Management from the University of Phoenix. He has twenty years experience as a consultant to business and healthcare professionals and has been active in healthcare delivery, managed care and mental health in Colorado for the past thirty years
